Answers you can put your name on.
Most AI assistants are built to always say something. Keystone Codex is built for industries where that is a liability: energy, skilled trades, transportation, and other fields where the answer has to match the regulation, the manual, or the policy, and someone has to be able to prove it.
/ WHAT IT IS
For work where a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer.
Keystone Codex is a document-grounded AI assistant built for safety and compliance work. It responds only from the documents your organization has indexed and approved, applies your access permissions before it ever retrieves a page, and cites the exact source for every statement it makes.
When sources disagree, it shows you the conflict instead of picking a side. When it does not have solid grounds, it declines to answer rather than guess. Every question and answer is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log.
/ HOW IT BEHAVES
Grounded, not generative guessing
Every answer comes from your indexed documents. If the documents don't support an answer, it abstains and tells you why.
A citation on every claim
Each statement links back to the exact source passage, so verification takes seconds, not a records search.
Conflicts surfaced, not smoothed over
When two sources disagree, you see both, side by side.
Your access rules, enforced first
Permissions are applied before retrieval, so no one gets an answer drawn from a document they aren't cleared to see.
A full audit trail
Every question, answer, and source is logged append-only.
Regulations that move are watched
Federal regulatory sources are monitored on a schedule, and the system flags when its material may be out of date instead of quietly serving stale answers.
Measured, not assumed
Quality is verified against a battery of adversarial test cases on every change, with wrong-answer and over-caution rates tracked separately, because averaging them hides both.
Works where you work
Supports single sign-on, and can run in a fully offline mode for field environments with no internet connection.
It says "I don't know" instead of guessing.
GROUNDED / CITED / PERMISSIONED / LOGGED
The same trustworthy engine, tuned to your field.
Keystone Codex adapts to your industry through configurable content packs, so the same engine can serve your vocabulary, your documents, and your rules. If your team answers to a regulation, a manual, or a policy, tell me about it.
